Fundamentals of Sailing
This two-day weekend course is designed for those who want a thorough introduction to the exciting sport of sailing. We follow the US Sailing Curriculum and grant ONE°15 Brooklyn Sail Club Basic Sailing Certification. Graduates will have a good understanding of all the basics and with additional practice will become competent crew members.
Instructional time: 12.0 hours practical + 6.0 hours of shore briefings
Pre-requisites: High interest in learning to sail, no prior experience needed
Certifications: ONE°15 Brooklyn Sail Club Certification
Textbook: Basic Keelboat Sailing, 4th Edition, US Sailing (provided)
Pricing starts at $600 per person per weekend session. Discounts for early booking and group booking. Hold your Fundamentals-of-Sailing spot in a class for only $100 p.p. with the balance payable 45 days before.
