We finding more wet and damaged spinnakers as the weather turns.
If you have a damaged spinnaker – please bring it to the office and tie a string or know around the damage. Please no not put it back into circulation (i.e. leave on boat for Thursday racing or return to container)
Wet spinnakers. Wet spinnakers are more susceptible to damage – attempt to dry and and spread out in forepeak to dry and report – so staff can dry them the next day. Do no put them in the bag wet.
Spinnakers should be stored in the forepeak not on the cabin sole – so it can easily get wet.
If the boat is wet – dry it out the boat and don’t leave sails sitting in a puddle of water.
