- Crew – office key on #28 tag (metal tag – “Gentleman”)

Returning to dock
- Please call out on VHF ch 71 before entering the marina. If no response – issue a securite call and enter cautiously. Over the weekend we had a vessel backing down the fairway without calling for clearance.
- The marina is called “Brooklyn Bridge Marina”
- Boats should glide into the slip and the spring line should be used to gentle step the boat’s forward motion.
- Position the bow – one tile away from the main dock.
Derigging the boats
- Tie up the boat as tight a possible. Boat should move in unison with finger.
- J/80 – loop spring line around base of winch – no hitch that might torque or rotate the winch drum
- J/80 – bow lines go through the gap between the forestay and forward post of the bow pulpit
- Keep all backstays slack
- Melges 24 – wrap main halyard around support post (not around halyards) and secure with main halyard fine tune hook.
- J/80 battle flag is secure the forward part of the bow pulpit and clear of the forestay triangle.
- Hose down deck, fittings, tracks and lower unit of engine to rinse off all salt water.
- Report any repairs in the repair binder.
