The season’s first Navigator’s race. Wind forecast of light breeze from the Northwest never came to fruition – instead we had a building sea breeze with come light patches. Flooding current played a major factor in the tactics.
Six teams vied for the bragging rights – Lori Ruderman, Zach Winninger, Grayson Fisher, Stephen DiGregoria, Stephen Yip (FC) and Vadim Vorobyov all came with their navigator tools and strategies. Sail weather was perfect. A start line was established and after 2+hours of racing around barges and bouys, two winners emerged.
