MEMBER RULES

All new members join the Club as crew members. Platinum, Gold or Intro level. Each membership is entitled to have one applicable sailing reservation at any one time.

CREW PLATINUM LEVEL

Platinum level crew members can sail all they want, participate in our Fleet Captain programs and are eligible to participate in the Club’s regular races.

CREW GOLD LEVEL

Gold level crew members are entitled to eight free sails during our Peak Times(1), thereafter, members then pay or each additional sail. For all other times, Gold level members can sail all they want. Gold level members can also participate in our Fleet Captain programs but not regular racing unless they pay an additional fee.

(1)Peak Times are weekday evenings, weekends, holidays and the afternoon session before weekends and holidays.

CREW INTRO LEVEL

For new sailors we offer a weekend of instruction, two free sails in our Fleet Captain program and two months of non-sailing membership benefits. Afterwards, Crew Intro level members can elect to join the Club at the Gold or Platinum level without additional initiation fees. This program is also called our Learn-to-Crew.

SKIPPER PRIVILEGES

Members granted skippering privileges after passing a certification process can reserve boats and take out members and non-member guests on their private sails.

Skippers at the Platinum level are also eligible to form racing teams. Dues for Platinum level skippers are an additional $600 per year.

FAMILY AND SPOUSES

For Platinum level members, each declared family group or couple can have one outstanding sailing reservation at a time for the entire family group or couple. For example, if one spouse is travelling, the other can still use the sailing reservation. If the family group or couple wants to sail at same time but on different boats, then additional memberships are required. Each additional membership under the family group or spouse is offered at a discount.

Spouses and family members can join members with skipper privileges on private sails for a small administrative fee.

GUEST FEES

Members with skipper privileges can bring guests sailing. There is a fee for all cruising guests. Spouses and family members can join members with skipper privileges on private sails as guests.

RACING FEES

Series fees for regular evening racing are invoiced to the racing skipper. Please refer to Club policies regarding racing guests. There is a guest fee for racing.

INITIATION FEES AND SALES TAX

There is a one-time initiation fee when you apply for membership. All dues and initiation fees are subject to sales tax.

BILILNG AND PRORATING DUES

Club Dues are due at the beginning of each calendar year but can be paid down in installments over the year. For new members, Club Dues are prorated for the sailing season. Click for prorated fee and billing schedule.
